Idaho Power Company, a utility serving 560,000 customers in a service area spanning an estimated 24,000 square miles with a summer load of 3,392 Megawatts, has implemented Power Settlements’ SettleCore – Visual Analytics Module for real-time PNL reporting and position management. Visual Analytics allows Idaho Power to analyze ISO/RTO and internal data including schedules, real-time dispatch, meter, pricing, position management, and profits and losses in a single graphical interface. Idaho Power also uses the ISO Downloader Module for detailed CAISO reporting and analysis and the Settlements Analyzer Module for in-depth CAISO Settlements drill-down analysis of invoices, settlement statements, and billing determinants.

The SettleCore – Visual Analytics Module is a dashboard that displays the customer’s EIM data in a single screen for analysis of either the current day’s real-time data in the Real-Time screen or historical days in the Historical Analytics screen (post-analytics). This module graphically displays base schedules, market awards, dispatches, LMPs, unit parameters, and outage information, among other data sources. The customer’s internal meter data is imported to provide a real-time view of imbalance energy (uninstructed deviations), and the solution provides a snapshot of the customer’s PNL in the EIM.
