Glendora, California – Power Settlements, a leading software solution provider of cloud-hosted software for managing market participation and settlements in ISO/RTO markets, announces that two Community Choice Aggregators, Marin Clean Energy (MCE) and Clean Power San Francisco (CleanPowerSF), have selected Power Settlements for providing CAISO Settlements, Contract Billing, and Reporting software.
Both MCE and CleanPowerSF are part of the Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) program in California. CCAs have specific requirements to help with their participation with CAISO to be more efficient. Power Settlements’ platform, SettleCore, is uniquely suited for meeting these requirements. First, SettleCore interfaces with CAISO to bring in all the available data. This allows CCAs to have a single source for their data and participation with CAISO. Second, the SettleCore system supports all settlement-related charges. SettleCore will also help to provide all the supporting data in case there is a dispute with the ISO. Third, SettleCore provides a calculation engine that allows CCAs to support any complex bilateral counterparty PPAs, or other contracts that need to be settled. Lastly, SettleCore supports a full reporting engine to customers (inclusive of API integration, database access, and file extraction to Excel CSV) to enable users to easily extract the data from the SettleCore system as well as to develop customer-specific reports, invoices, graphs, and tables.
