Today, Power Settlements completed the first implementation of the SettleCore system. One of our customers selected our “fixed fee SettleCore shadow settlement service” (see the brochure on our website). In this service, we installed the SettleCore system, which includes the Settlements Analyzer, the ISO Downloader, and the Shadow Settlement Dispute modules. SettleCore was installed onsite for the client, and then we remotely operate the system for them, to ensure that all data is loaded, shadow settlements processed, and their reports were generated and saved to their network. Power Settlements performs this service on a daily basis, in order to enable the client’s analysts to focus on data analysis rather than on operating the system.

Today, the 10th CAISO market participant downloaded the free trial version of the Settlements Analyzer. The free trial version of the Settlements Analyzer, which is available for the entirety of the MRTU market simulations, assists CAISO scheduling coordinators with in-depth MRTU settlements charge code training, reviewing and analyzing MRTU market settlement files, and exporting MRTU settlement data into spreadsheets. Power Settlements announces, that in addition to the existing SaMC functionality, the free trial version of the SettleCore – Settlements Analyzer now includes a process to semi-automate the SIBR upload process. This functionality will enable scheduling coordinators to enter their bids, self-schedules, and ISTs into a spreadsheet, which can be imported into the Settlements Analyzer. The Settlements Analyzer will then convert the data into XML files, which the users can upload to SIBR via the Advanced Submit process. This new functionality in the Settlements Analyzer will enable scheduling coordinators to save a significant amount of time from otherwise manually entering all of their self-schedules, bids, and ISTs directly into SIBR.
