Power Settlements is pleased to announce that Entegra Power Group recently implemented SettleCore for their bid to bill participation in PJM. SettleCore enables the automated upload of bids and offers to the ISOs through shadow settlements and reporting. Entegra is an active participant in the ISO markets and uses SettleCore for their interaction in CAISO, MISO, and PJM.
City Water Light and Power (“CWLP”), the largest municipal utility in Illinois, recently implemented the SettleCore™ – ISO Downloader Module for their reporting needs in the MISO markets.

Entegra Power Group, new to MISO South, owns and operates some of the largest independent power plants in the United States, including the Arkansas Union Power Station, which produces close to 2,200 MW of power in the MISO market.
After reviewing Power Settlements and several competing software vendors, Entegra selected SettleCore™ for all of their interactions and communications in the MISO market. Entegra and Power Settlements recently completed the SettleCore™ implementation for all of their bid to bill interactions in MISO.
Power Settlements is pleased to announce that during 2013 both our sales and our staff has doubled in size to meet the growth of our SettleCore software suite for market participants of the ISO and RTO markets. Our business growth has been driven by expansion into the scheduling and settlements segments of the PJM and MISO markets, as well as continued growth in our existing CAISO and ETRM segments.
Southern California Edison (“SCE”), one of the largest utilities in the U.S., with several thousand megawatts of generation and a peak load of approximately 22,000 MW, has implemented the SettleCore – Shadow Settlements Module for their CAISO shadow settlements charge code estimation and validation processes. After a thorough testing period, today, SCE retired their legacy vendor settlement system and moved SettleCore into production as their single system of record for their back-office.
Entegra Power Group has selected the SettleCore system for all of their scheduling, outage management, meter uploads, shadow settlements, invoicing, reporting, and Business Intelligence needs in the MISO market. SettleCore has already been installed and is currently being used by Entegra in the MISO market trials, as their Union Power Station has been transferred to the MISO balancing authority as part of Entergy’s move into the MISO.

High Desert Power Project licensed and implemented the SettleCore – Outage Module for the CAISO markets. This module is used for the upload of resource outages to the CAISO’s SLIC APIs. Users have the option to enter outages directly into the application or through a generic Excel file template which is then imported into the SettleCore – Outage Module. This module then submits the outages directly to the CAISO’s SLIC system.
