Entegra Power Group Selects SettleCore for Scheduling and Settlements in MISO and PJM
Entegra Power Group has selected the SettleCore system for all of their scheduling, outage management, meter uploads, shadow settlements, invoicing, reporting, and Business Intelligence needs in the MISO market. SettleCore has already been installed and is currently being used by Entegra in the MISO market trials, as their Union Power Station has been transferred to the MISO balancing authority as part of Entergy’s move into the MISO. Additionally, Entegra has selected SettleCore for their PJM front-office and back-office needs. The implementation of SettleCore for PJM will be completed shortly.
“Entegra Power Group’s selection of SettleCore for their bid to bill processing in MISO and PJM is a significant win for Power Settlements and a testament to our expansion of the SettleCore system to all of the ISO/RTO markets. Entegra has been a valued customer of ours since 2009, and we applaud their decision to select SettleCore for their participation in additional ISO/RTO markets,” said David Dan, CEO of Power Settlements.
About Entegra Power Group
Entegra Power Group was formed in June of 2005 as an independent power company to own and operate two of the largest independent power plants in the United States – the Gila River Power Station and the Union Power Station. These two power stations are similar in size and design and each station is home to four natural gas fired combined cycle facilities that can produce approximately 2,200 MW of power. The Gila River Power Station is located just south of Phoenix, Arizona and the Union Power Station is located in southern Arkansas. In addition, Entegra owns and operates the 42 mile Trans-Union Interstate Pipeline, which flows gas from Louisiana to the Union Power Station in Arkansas. Entegra personnel, located onsite at each of the power stations, perform power plant operations and maintenance.
Entegra’s corporate headquarters is based in Tampa, Florida. The Tampa headquarters is also home to the asset management team that includes an energy marketing and trading organization, which manages all of the commercial energy activities associated with the Entegra energy assets.
